Kelly Ripa Tattoo Regret

Kelly Ripa Tattoo Regret

When one thinks of wholesome, clean cut, girl next door, Kelly Ripa the last thing that comes to their mind is that she has a tattoo. The Live With Regis and Kelly co-star does indeed have a tattoo. Kelly has a fairly noticeable rose, heart, wave tattoo on her inner left ankle. Kelly does however admit that the tattoo is a forever reminded of her youthful stupidity, ( she got the tattoo when she was 19 years old) but it also gives some tattooed people some hope.

Kelly is a very likable and well loved woman and the fact that she has a tattoo does not even cross most if not everyone mind that adores her. So why can't this be said about regular people in the world that may have a tattoo or two. They might be as wholesome and clean cut as Kelly. However, since their life isn't in the spot light and people are not aware of their personality or their charitable contributions, to society they are simply looked down upon because of their body art. This is a great example of people being too judgemental.

Just because someone has a tattoo doesn't make them a bad person. You never know they might even be a better person than the person that is judging them. People need to stop and think before they voice their opinion on someone due to appearance or a tattoo. After all just like Thumper's mother said, if you can't say anything nice, than don't say anything at all. If more people lived their life this way the world might be a better place.

Celebrity Tattoo - Drew Barrymore

Celebrity Tattoo - Drew Barrymore
Celebrity Tattoo - Drew Barrymore

Well it is another Wednesday so that means it is celebrity tattoo time. This week I picked Drew Barrymore because she has a collection of 6 tattoos at the moment. But Drew has admitted that if the mood strikes her she hasn't ruled out the possibility of getting another one.

Drew's tattoos consist of a bouquet of flowers on the left side of her hip. On her stomach she has a butterfly tattoo which is probably her most well known tattoo. She also have a very small black crescent moon on her big toe. On the lower part of her right leg she has a fairly large tattoo of a cross with vines surrounding it. And lastly she has two angles on her lower back. One has Drew's mother's name "Jaid" written under it and the other has an ex-boyfriend's name "James" under it.

Like most tattooed people you fall in love with your tattoos and love to talk and share them with people. Well Drew is certainly one of those people. Drew was asked in an interview what she loved most about her body and guess what she said? Her tattoos. Here's what she said:

"I love my tattoos, which are like permanent make-up. I have an angel on my hip, a butterfly under my navel, a Celtic cross on my calf and a blue moon on my toe.

I will not have any of my body parts pierced, though - that scares the hell out of me."

If you have a suggestion of a celebrity you would like me to cover then just let me know.

Celebrity Tattoo Regret - Megan Fox

Celebrity Tattoo Regret - Megan Fox

Megan Fox has not come out and admitted she regrets one of her tattoos, but it's pretty safe to assume she is majorly regretting that Brian tattoo she has on her pelvic area. Megan and fiance, Austin Green have officially called off their engagement and have broken up. So it is pretty safe to say Megan is asking herself, "What was I thinking?"

This is a prefect example to every young woman and man out there. Just because you have been with someone for years and are committed to each other and plan to marry, things can still go wrong. So Megan is now left with a few choices, one get her Brian tattooed removed by laser tattoo removal or have it covered up with another tattoo. While the cost of the laser tattoo removal is no concern to Megan because she has the money to do so. She may opt to cover it up. However, if she decided to cover up that tattoo with a new tattoo it will have to be twice the size if not three times the size of the her current Brain tattoo to properly cover it up.

So take this as a lesson learned to anyone out there that wants to be over romantic and get a tattoo of a lover's name. Simply do not do it. You honestly never know how things will turn out and you don't want to be left with a permanent reminded of that ill-fated relationship you want to leave in the past.

Star Tattoo Designs Top 5 Choices

Star Tattoo Designs Top 5 Choices

The Star Tattoo design is one of the most popular choices for lots of people and must also be one of the oldest types of tattoo design. There are so many different types to choose from but all can be cool and exciting and of course you are not limited to where on your body you may like to have a star tattoo.

My top 5 choices are as follows.

1. Shooting stars, these are a very popular choice with celebrities just because of their diversity and originality. We can have them anywhere on the body and of course in any colour we feel appropriate. We can have a galaxy or just one we can have them in various shapes or styles running up our leg or across our back or a simple design on our wrist.

2. One of the oldest designs is the Nautical Star and this is associated with sailors. Seen as a symbol of guidance and protection sailors felt they were a protection when at sea and would help protect them and guide them home. Now popular by all as a symbol to guide us through life.

3. The Pentagram is often associated with witchcraft and evil spirits', however in Celtic folklore the stars 5 points symbolised balance and protection from 4 of the points with the final point representing your spirit. A downward pointed star is said however to represent the devil so we should be very clear in any choices here.

4. The Septagram is a seven point star design which is often associated with astrology as representing the seven planets. It is also associated with the chakras and has an element of mystery and prophesies which is why I have included it here.

5. Now my final one is Tribal Star Designs which are very different in the sense that one would expect the star to be incorporated into another design an animal or plant as a sign of strength or fertility is quite normal. Here we can really experiment and design our own symbol in the knowledge we know exactly what the different symbols represent.

As with many designs at the moment celebrities have been showing off their latest works of art and certainly Rhiannon's shooting stars of all sizes which wrap her neck and right shoulder are a stunning piece.

I always recommend some planning prior to any tattoo and this includes Star Tattoo Designs, just make sure that you know exactly what you want and get a template to make sure this is exactly what you get.

White Tattoos - What the Heck

White Tattoos - What the Heck

I will admit I was scratching my head at this one and I still don't quit get it. But apparently there is a new tattoo fad among us that I didn't know about. It seems that white ink tattoos have become some sort overnight success and most have. Popular celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Kate Moss both have these interestingly new white tattoos. From what I have read, these white tattoos are applied with a regular tattoo gun but the ink that is used is thicker and of a higher quality than normal to stand out on the skin.

Reality TV star Jasmine Lennard, is the newest person to get hooked in this latest tend. she said,

"Everyone in LA is having the tattoos so I just had to have one. I saw Lindsay Lohan had one and it looked so pretty I asked her where she got it. She told me to go to the Shamrock. At first I was terrified to go because I thought it looked like a branding rather than a tattoo."

"The tattoo was red after it was done but I love the design because it's subtle and you don't really see it unless you are looking for it, which is the charm of the whole thing."

"Lots of stars have them. I was told Kate Moss has white ink hearts all up the side of her body."

There are some downsides to these white tattoos though, for one you absolutely can not have them exposed to the sun. Secondly, they fade almost twice as fast as a regular tattoos and lastly it is advised not to get a white tattoo if you have very light colored skin because it will just end up looking like scar tissue and not a tattoo. I will admit to everyone I just don't know about this new tattoo trend. I think it looks like you have literally branded yourself.
